Although he admits the advantage of adding the Miami-Homstead Speedway to the FIA Formula E World Championship calendar, Motorsports Legend and Andretti Global Principal Michael Andretti Regrets losing the Portland Internacional Raceway:

“I was really disappointed when I got back here, people love this race, last year we had just as many people as we had in IndyCar so, disappointing […] for Formula E, getting down to the Miami area… I think it’s been the goal to call (the attention of) South America, but still wish we were saying here”

The Portland E-Prix double feature is taking place this weekend (June 29th and 30th) at the Portland International Raceway, but has been taken out of the 2025 calendar.

However, the FIA Formula E World Championship will have its first appearance at the Homestead-Miami Speedway through the 5th round of the championship, scheduled for April the 12th next year.
